Letter of Invitation to submit a proposal

Sub: Market Analysis in Respect of Opportunities Identified in GCC Countries(UAE) 

Korea Health Industry Development Institute would hereby like to invite you to submit a proposal in accordance to the Request for Proposal attached for the above-referenced subject.

The ‘Healthcare PPP Entry Strategy for Selected Markets’ identified that the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) plans to develop Centers of Excellence (CoE’s) in rehabilitation, oncology and orthopedics and that the DHA and Department of Finance (DoF) are likely to want to develop these as Public Private Partnerships (PPPs). The study also identified opportunities for rehabilitation in Abu Dhabi as well. 

KHIDI would like to develop these opportunities and is seeking to mandate a qualified business consultant (the “Consultant”) to undertake a market analysis in respect of 4 specialty areas in two territories as follows:

• Dubai: Cancer, Rehabilitation and Long Term Care, and Orthopedics and Sports Medicine
• Abu Dhabi: Rehabilitation

Our objective is to select research that fully meets the requirements identified in the Request for Proposal (RFP).

• Proposals received in response to the RFP will be handled by KHIDI UAE, represented by Sue Kyung Lee, Director General of KHIDI UAE office
• The final report should be issued 16 weeks from the start date of t the assignment (or 1 week from receiving comments from KHIDI on the draft report, whichever is later).
• The proposed price is 150,000 USD. This amount includes the consultant’s travel expenses
